Shadow Creek Golf Course
Shadow Creek, an 18-hole golf course located in North Las Vegas, Nevada, is owned by MGM Resorts International. Originally opened in 1989, the course was built on a sprawling 350-acre site at a reported cost of $60 million. Designed by Tom Fazio, the course was initially operated as a private club by Steve Wynn before being opened to a limited number of MGM hotel guests. With its $500 green fee, it became one of the most expensive golf courses available to the general public.
Since its opening, Shadow Creek has hosted a variety of prestigious events, further cementing its reputation. In 2018, it was the site of The Match: Tiger vs. Phil, a high-profile match play event featuring Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson. The course is set to host another major event, The Match, in December 2024, featuring PGA and LIV tour stars Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler, Bryson DeChambeau, and Brooks Koepka.

The 2008 Redesign & Features
The course was originally 7,239 yards but was extended to 7,560 yards during a 2008 redesign that also included the addition of a 7-acre short game facility.
Hosting Major Tournaments
In 2020, Shadow Creek hosted the PGA Tour’s CJ Cup after the event was relocated from South Korea due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Since 2021, it has been the venue for the Bank of Hope LPGA Match-Play tournament on the LPGA Tour, continuing to draw top golf talent to its world-class layout.
